Visiting the website
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. Like every web server, Cloudflare processes technical data for each request, such as your IP address, the time, the page you asked for and the type of browser. This is needed to deliver the website and to protect it against attacks and abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, working website.
We do not use analytics or statistics tools, and we do not track you across pages or websites.
The contact form
When you use the form for a question, a free audit or a job application, we process the details you fill in: your name, email address, the address of your store, your message and, for an application, the link to your CV or LinkedIn profile. We use them only to answer you, to carry out the audit you asked for, or to assess your application. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible agreement, or our legitimate interest in answering messages.
Your message is sent to our mailbox by Resend, Inc., and our email runs on Google Workspace. We keep messages no longer than needed for these purposes. Applications are deleted after the application procedure has ended, unless you agree to a longer period.
Spam protection
To keep bots out of the form, we use Cloudflare Turnstile. When you open a page with the form, Turnstile runs a check in your browser and sends technical signals about your browser and device to Cloudflare. Cloudflare uses them only to tell people from bots. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a form that is not misused.
Cookies and storage in your browser
This website does not place cookies. If you use the button to pause motion, your browser remembers that choice in its session storage on your own device until you close the tab. That preference is not sent to us or to anyone else.
Sharing and transfers
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the providers on this page (Cloudflare, Resend and Google), as far as needed for their service, or when the law requires us to. Each of them processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. These providers may process data outside the European Union; in that case the transfer is based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission. We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing and do not build profiles of visitors.
Security
The website can only be reached over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), loads no third-party scripts other than Turnstile on pages with the form, and uses security settings that make misuse harder.
Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to object to its processing and to receive your data in a portable form. Send your request to info@mkp-ecom.com; we respond within one month.
If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
